This log cabin ruler helps you to make log cabins by machine quickly and accurately. Other quick methods often lead to less than perfect blocks. With this ruler you first cut the strips in the right length, making the blocks go together perfectly. The ruler makes blocks with finished strip sizes of 5/8 and 1 1/4 inch (fnished size). This ruler gives the narrowest strips of all three rulers.

Do you love the jelly rolls with their 2,5 inch strips? Marti Michell has introduced a set with three templates fitting the strips exactly. They give you 7 different shapes. Many of the patterns from her books can be made in a different size by using the strippers.

Pattern for using the 2,5 inch strippers templates. The size of the quilt is 50 x 58 inches, 127 x 147.3 cm. The pattern is inspired by the Aunt Nonnie's Mountain View quilt in  Encyclopedia of Patchwork Blocks Volume 6 staat. That book contains more quilts that you can make in a different size using the strippers.
