Een geweldig hulpmiddel voor het naaien van patchwork met de machine of met de hand. Met de corner trimmer kun je de hoekjes van de meest voorkomende vormen afsnijden, zodat ze altijd precies aan elkaar passen. Er zitten 45, 53.5, 60, 90, 120 en 135 graden hoeken aan, voor driehoeken, ruiten, vierkanten, kaleido hoeken en zeshoeken. Dus heb je een handig patroon, met snelle snijmethodes, maar zonder de Marti Michell malletjes, dan kun je toch de hoekjes afsnijden. En voor wie wel snel wil snijden, maar liever (soms) met de hand wil naaien, zitten er gaatjes op 1/4 inch van de rand. Daarmee kun je de naailijn markeren, en de stukjes netjes aan elkaar naaien. In het midden van de lange kant zit een klein gaatje op 1/4 inch vanaf de rand. Als je de naald van je naaimachine hier in laat zakken, kun je een stukje tape langs de rand van deze ´tool´ plakken, zodat je een perfecte 1/4 inch naad kunt naaien. Kortom, een ontzettend handig hulpmiddel.

Met deze nieuwe liniaal kun je 8 verschillende maten Tumblers, ook wel Thimbles (vingerhoedjes) genoemd. De kleinste is 2,5 inch hoog, en past precies op de stroken van Jelly Rolls en Bali Pops. De grootste is 6 inch hoog. Een geweldige liniaal om restjes op te snijden. Doordat de puntjes aan de onderkant afgesneden worden, passen ze precies aan elkaar en hoef je niet te gokken hoeveel je ze moet laten overlappen om ervoor te zorgen dat ze netjes recht naast elkaar komen.

In dit pakket zitten 12 lichte en 12 donkere stoffen voor de negen achtpuntige sterren, achtergrondstof voor de hele quilt en de afwerkbies en de stof voor de randen. Een mooie scrappy combinatie van reproductiestoffen en basisstoffen, zoals in de quilt op de afbeelding. De quilt is 86 x 86 inch, 218 x 218 cm.
