With this set you can make hexagon log cabin blocks. WIth the two templates you cut the centre hexagon, and the strips that you sew around the hexagon to a 4,5 inch hexagon block (finished size, side of the hexagon). That is the same size as the large hexagon ruler, make it easy to combine these blocks with large hexagons.
