The Log Cabin Snuggler pattern contains several projects that you can make with one of the Log Cabin rulers by Marti Michell. As Marti writes in the introduction to the pattern: this pattern is perfect for people that have never made a Log Cabin quilt, or for people who made Log Cabin quilts, but want to work more precise. And it is a great pattern if you want to practise working with the From Marti Michell Log Cabin ruler, because the pattern contains a number of quick projects, but also lay-outs for bed quilts.
The Log Cabin pattern is one of the most popular patterns. It is versatile: you can make a block in every size you want, by varying the number of strips, of the width of the strips. It is great for using scraps. The block is relatively easy to make. Once you made the blocks, you can make several patterns by sewing the blocks together in different ways. The Log Cabin Snuggler on the front of the pattern (right-hand side of the picture) is 55 inch square (139,7 cm) and contains 16 log cabin blocks. You can make the same quilt in a smaller size: 32 3/4 inch (83,2 cm). The pattern also gives the layout for a queen size bed quilt and a table for several sizes of bed quilts. It also contains a table runner and a children's quilt measuring 45,5 x 56 inch (115,6 x 142,2 cm). Finally, it contains the pattern for cute coasters.
