This beautiful spinning circle is made with 1 template. The template includes 1/4 inch seam allowance. You can cut the pieces of fabric with a rotary cutter directly alongside the template. The diameter of the circle is 11 1/2 inch (29,2 cm).
The instruction booklet explains several ways to sew the circle. It can be done by sewing machine, but for this block hand sewing is not only an option (which it always is), is it in fact probably easier! In addition, Marti explains two applique methods to make the block.
The finished circle can be sewn by reverse applique in the background fabric, to make a square block. Or a different shape or size, whaterver you fancy.
