This ruler is the little sister of the Flying Geese ruler. WIth this small ruler, you can cut Flying Geese units quickly, precisely and without wasting fabric in 9 sizes. The smallest Flying Geese unit is 1 x 2 inch (2,5 x 5 cm) , and in 1/4 inch steps you reach the largest size of 3 x 6 inch (7,5 x 15 cm).
The ruler indicates the width of the strip to cut. The black lines then indicate the size for the large triangle, and the purple lines give you the size for the small triangles. As with all templates by Marti Michell, the corners are engineered to cut off any dog ears before you sew. This means the pieces align perfectly, and your Flying Geese unit will be perfect too.
